Cancellation Policy

1. Agreement Commencement This agreement becomes effective upon receipt of the deposit and will remain in effect until the agreed Services are completed and full payment (including any applicable surcharges) has been made. Payment of the deposit indicates that the Client has read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. 2. Initial Booking To secure your date, a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit cannot be transferred between artists or packages. Dates and time slots are reserved only once the deposit is received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one (1) week before the event date. If paying by credit card, full payment is required at the time of booking. 3. Change of Date and Time Clients are allowed one (1) complimentary rescheduling within one year of the original event date, subject to availability and only in the case of unforeseen circumstances. Any additional changes will incur a fee of 20% of the total service cost. The Client acknowledges that due to the date change, the originally assigned artist may not be available. In such cases, Aoi’s Makeup will assign a replacement artist of equal rank or skill. 4. Sanitation and Skin Conditions All tools and brushes are properly sanitized before and between each makeup application. Products used are skincare-based and/or hypoallergenic. Clients must notify the artist in advance of any known skin allergies or sensitivities. A patch test can be conducted upon request. By proceeding with the service, the Client (and any other person receiving services) agrees to release Aoi’s Makeup and its artists from liability for any skin reactions or complications that may occur. 5. Cancellation All deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. In the unlikely event that an artist is unable to perform due to illness, hospitalization, or other emergencies, Aoi’s Makeup will provide a qualified replacement artist of similar experience and rank. 6. Force Majeure Aoi’s Makeup shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, emergencies, accidents, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, internet disruptions, or failures of transportation or service providers.
